Our Music and Theater program nurtures creativity, confidence, and artistic expression for students ages 2 through 8th grade. Beginning in the early years, children explore rhythm, movement, singing, storytelling, and dramatic play in joyful, developmentally appropriate ways. As students grow, they build foundational musicianship—such as pitch, tempo, and ensemble awareness—while also learning theatrical techniques including character development, staging, and collaboration. Each year, students have the opportunity to share their learning with the community through special performances such as Grandfriends Day, Halloween celebrations, the Winter Holiday Concert, and a culminating Spring musical.

In the upper elementary and middle school grades, students deepen their performing skills through more advanced vocal work, instrumental experiences, choreography, and scripted theater. Our Spring musicals have included beloved Disney Jr. productions such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin, offering students the chance to participate in full-scale productions that highlight teamwork, discipline, and artistic excellence. Throughout the program, we strive to create an encouraging environment where every student can shine—whether on stage, behind the scenes, or as part of an ensemble—fostering a lifelong appreciation for music, theater, and creative expression.
