Please follow the below steps for applying to the Nasri Academy for Gifted Children.

  1. Contact Nasri Academy
  2. Schedule a tour
    • The school offers tours at various times throughout the week. Contact the main office ext. 101 to find out tour availability.
  3. Submit a Shadow Day Form
  4. Plan a Student Shadow Day
    • If you are interested in pursuing admission, schedule a day that your child can shadow at the school.
    • Students visit in a classroom that is their current age and spend a full day immersed in the program. Early Childhood students spend a half day in the morning.
  5. IQ Assessment
    • The next step will be to have an IQ assessment completed (6 years and above).
    • This assessment can be completed by a psychologist familiar with gifted students to administer an individual Wechsler Intelligence test (WPPSI- IV or WISC-V only) or schedule an appointment with an independent contractor of the school.
    • The tester/ family must submit a full report to the school in a timely manner for review.
    • The cost of this assessment is paid by the applying family.
  6. Decision made about acceptance
    • No file will be completed until all components have been received.
    • All Acceptance decisions upon review are the sole discretion of the Nasri Academy for Gifted Children’s Admission Committee

  7. Upon acceptance, complete and submit a signed contract with a non-refundable deposit of $500.

No Refunds: Due to our space limitations, there are no refunds for cancelled applications.
